Educational Objectives:
1) To understand viral integration
2) To review management of challenging Pap test diagnoses and special groups (postmenopausal, post surgical, adolescents)
3) To evaluate different ways to assess for high risk lesions (HPV testing strategies, p16, PCR for E6/E7 genes)
This presentation will focus on managerial implications of cervical screening, including cytologic findings as well as HPV testing. Indications and biologic impact of viral integration will be discussed.
