The ASC Foundation is now accepting applications for Annual Scientific Meeting Travel Scholarships. Applications will only be accepted on the ASC Web site. Cytotechnologist – ASC Annual Scientific Meeting Travel Scholarship
The ASC Foundation awards $2,000 each to five qualified cytotechnologists, who are ASC members and in their first two years of practice, to attend the ASC Annual Scientific Meeting. This scholarship, based on need and merit, defrays registration, travel and hotel costs, and includes funding for one workshop, one panel luncheon, and per diem allowance.
Fellow/Resident – ASC Annual Scientific Meeting Travel Scholarship
The ASC Foundation awards $2,000 each to five qualified Pathology Residents or Cytopathology Fellows, who are ASC members to attend the ASC Annual Scientific Meeting. This scholarship, based on need and merit, defrays registration, travel and hotel costs, and will include funding for one workshop, one panel luncheon, and per diem allowance.

2013 Trainee Travel Award Application
Intersociety Council for Pathology Information, Inc. (ICPI) has launched a program to support trainee participation in scientific meetings organized by its sponsoring and associate member societies. A limited number of ICPI Trainee Travel Awards are available in 2013. There are 2 types of Travel Awards:
1) Trainee Travel Award: $500.00 for trainees who do not submit an abstract
2) Trainee Travel Award with Abstract: $750.00 for trainees who are an author/co-author on an accepted abstract at the meeting they are attending.
The award is a stipend intended to offset the travel costs for attending one of ICPI’s member societies’ meetings. Awardees must currently be a trainee (medical student, graduate student, resident, fellow) member of one of the American Society of Cytopathology.
