Educational Objectives:
1. Update on the cytologic diagnosis especially with newer diagnostic modalities and reporting paradigms
2. Recognize morphologic mimics and thus avoid pitfalls
3. Appropriate use of ancillary testing with current emphasis on personalized medicine

This half day session by expert faculty will provide an update on the challenges encountered in select areas of fine needle aspiration and exfoliative cytology and strategies to overcome pitfalls. Recent advances and management strategies where appropriate will also be discussed.
